Rendezvous scuba diving - a reason for your vacation
The rendezvous couple will experience the wonders of the deep ocean with St Lucian born Terroll Compton who is well acquainted with St. Lucia’s most exotic under water gardens. He is a master scuba diving trainer for both PADI and NAUI with more than 10 years experience at a number of well known Scuba Centers on the island. Terroll and his team of diving instructors will take the Rendezvous couple down to the most romantic spots on the island for a truly breathtaking underwater look at St.Lucia's underworld. Experience the romantic side of Scuba Diving at Rendezvous. The instructors and dive masters are certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) - the world leader in training excellence. Resort courses are included for those wishing to try diving for the first time. All northern boat dives are also included in your Romantic Holiday. Marine Park Dives are not included but are available from US$ 75 per person. Please note that there is no scuba diving on the days of arrival and departure and on Sundays. (Anse Cochon Trip & Piton Trip: US$75 each). For those who are not certified divers, there is a PADI Discover Scuba Diving program. The experience includes a 45 minute classroom session, an hour in the pool practising skills, then an ocean dive to a maximum depth of 40ft /12m on one of the beautiful reefs around the St. Lucia coast. An instructor will accompany you at all times. The dive is very safe and loads of fun! You can sign up at the Scuba Centre at Rendezvous but hurry, classes are very popular and they fill fast. And if you have one more day to spare then you can own a PADI Scuba licence. The PADI SCUBA Diver course gives you a worldwide license to go diving. Maximum depth of 40ft /12m and you have to be accompanied by a PADI Professional. With only three modules to study, a few hours of "classroom tutorials" then three pool sessions, you will be on your way to becoming a licensed diver. The experienced instructors will ensure that you get more comfortable with the equipment and learn a few more underwater skills. After that, complete two ocean dives and we will make you a qualified diver. However, if you have completed the Discover Scuba Course, one pool session and one ocean dive will be credited. The PADI Open Water course is conducted over a 3 day period. Once you become certified, you will receive a certification card, which will allow you to dive to a maximum depth of 60 ft/ 18 m with any dive operation around the world with no further training.
